How it Started
About RMS
Founded in 1999 through the merger of Gallatin Farmers Company in Belgrade and Coop Supply in Dillon, Rocky Mountain Supply is built on a tradition that began in the 1930s—neighbors working together to support agriculture and rural communities across southwest Montana.
Today, Rocky Mountain Supply is a locally owned, member-driven cooperative governed by agricultural producers who understand the needs of the communities we serve. We provide a dependable, one-stop source for energy, agronomy, and retail products, including fuel, lubricants, crop nutrients and protection, seed, custom application services, hardware, livestock and animal health supplies, pet products, western wear, sporting goods, and convenience items.
As a cooperative, our success is shared. Profits are returned to members through annual patronage dividends and reinvested in facilities, equipment, and services that strengthen our communities. With deep local roots and a forward-looking approach, Rocky Mountain Supply is committed to growing alongside the producers, families, and businesses of southwest Montana.

Board of Directors
Rocky Mountain Supply is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors comprised of agricultural producers who are actively engaged in business with the company. Eligibility for board service requires that individuals have maintained an ongoing business relationship with Rocky Mountain Supply for each of the three years immediately preceding their election, ensuring knowledgeable and representative governance.
