Position: Retail Store Manager

Location: Townsend, MT

Supervisor: Retail Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Patrons - Achieve sales goals through Excellent Customer Service 
  • People - Staffing, Training, Directing, Leading the Team. 
  • Presentation - Keep a clean, well-stocked store both inside and outside.
  • Procedures - Follow established business procedures and uphold RMS policy.  

 Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural-Science or Business-related field preferred. 
  • Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, and ag supply knowledge. 
  • Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and POS systems. 
  • Ability to prioritize and work with competing demands.

  • Honest, hardworking, and dependable. 
  • Friendly with a good attitude.
  • Be service-oriented and able to work with a variety of clientele. 
  • Able to have a good relationship with employees throughout the company.

Position: Retail Assistant Store Manager

Location: Belgrade, MT

Supervisor: Retail Store Manager 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Superior customer service.
  • Knowledge of Store P&L and execute plans to achieve store and company goals.
  • Consistently promote and follow all RMS safety programs. 
  • Promote collaboration within individual stores and the overall company. 
  • Effectively monitor and protect company assets and store inventory.
  • Maintain consistently high store standards, including company Mystery Shops.  
  • Encourage a culture of high morale and engagement while developing talent for future division and/or company needs.
Basic Qualifications: 
  •  Clean and insurable driving record.
  • Be able to travel to other store locations with possible overnight stays.
  • Knowledge of computers, including but not limited to Word and Excel. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Retail experience is preferred but not required. 
  • Farm and Ranch experience preferred but not required.
