A New Way To Order Fuel

Two months ago, we put in place a system that allows you to order bulk refined fuels online from Rocky Mountain Supply (RMSI). As we grow, online ordering will allow your cooperative to do more with fewer employees and customers will be able to order fuel 24-7. If you need fuel on Saturday, just check your tank levels and tell us how many gallons your storage can hold. To date, we’re receiving about 300 orders a per month online, and we’d like more of you to try it. There are two ways you can place an online order for refined fuels:Visit our website or scan the QR code.

Visit our website

Go to RMSI.coop. At the top of the page, there is a header labeled “Order Fuel”. Click on that and you will see the fuel order form. Fill in your name, address and phone number, so we can contact you if we have a question. The form asks for your account number, but don’t worry if you have one and it’s not handy. We’ll fill it in. (If you do not have an RSMI account number, please click on “Register”.) The form will offer four drop-down boxes and you can select up to four different kinds of fuel. Please make sure you tell us how many gallons of each fuel you want. (We assume you have checked your tanks and know what amount each will hold.) At the bottom of the page, check the box that says, “I am not a robot”. Then, click on “Submit Order”. The site will tell you whether the order has been sent and we’ll receive your order in our office in about 15 minutes.

Scan the QR code

The other way to order fuel on-line is to scan the QR code (below) with your smart phone. A successful scan will take you to the fuel order form on our website. Just fill out that form as I’ve described above and click on “Submit Order”. Either way, we’ll receive your order in our office in about 15 minutes. If you are a regular, we’ll see what needs to be done, and we’ll do it. If we have questions, we’ll call your phone number.

Use the online portal

Did you know, you can also access all of your purchases from the RMSI energy department and retail stores. You can also check your credit, download statements, and make payments. With your permission, an e-mail will be sent to you each time a new statement appears in your portal. NOTE: You are not yet able to view invoices online for bulk agronomy purchases/ services. Those will be provided to you in hard copy at the time of purchase or shortly thereafter. So far one-third of RMSI customers have used this portal to make payments. The say paying their bills electronically, rather than writing checks, is super easy. Just enter our website (RMSI.coop) in your browser. When the home page appears, click on “Log-In” at the top. When the log-in page appears, if you do not have an account, click on “Register for a New One”. Complete the from, and the following day, you will receive an e-mail from Wayne Spencer, our accounts/credit manager, telling you what you can see and print out, and how to pay your bill online.
